Yesterday was a beautifully sunny Sunday.
Following a crazy busy week as we celebrated the twins 18th birthday, chaos surrounded us. Yet we loved it. Although I sensed I hadn’t really had much time for mum. So she enjoyed the TV and a bit of a chill out.
Seeing the sunshine and feeling my new car calling my name, I suggested to mum we put her rollator in the bigger booted car and pack up Harley and head to the sea. Following my nose, we ended up finding the perfect parking spot in Whitstable. A coastal town, famous for it’s creative nature saw me fuelling my passions for writing in my head, while knowing others with a talent and a paintbrush were likely overlooking the same view as me creating some beautiful art.
Mum did so well with walking. 2km my iPhone told me. This is the first time she has attempted anything like this since she was so poorly before Christmas. As we continued we stumbled upon a beautiful quirky cafe bar named The Bubble. Right on the sea front, gluten free, disabled friendly, welcomed dogs and breastfeeding too. Reasonable prices, the best soya vanilla latte I’ve had in forever and a gorgeous Rosemary and Orange slice of cake. Fantastic.
